Feedback from students, parents and colleagues

Bethany has tutored both our kids through late primary school (for general improvement, SATs and 11+). She is a completely lovely person with a kind and personalised approach to tutoring. Not only that, she is super experienced and has created an amazing interest from our kids in English, writing and maths – noticed by their teachers as well as our family. Thank you Bethany. You’ve been brilliant!”

“I had the pleasure of working with Bethany for 8 years. She is an incredibly versatile KS1 & KS2 teacher. She demonstrated excellent curriculum knowledge, clear differentiation & a passion for being in the classroom. Her lessons consistently included highly engaging and exciting activities for all children.”

Tina Frost-Lutman M.A, B.Ed (Hons) – OFSTED Inspector, Head Teacher

My 3 children have been lucky enough to have had Bethany as their Form teacher – she had an amazing rapport with them and brought out the best in them because of her positive and fun teaching style, along with all her experience. They still adore her and remember her as one of their favourite teachers in primary school. I would highly recommend her as a KS1 and KS2 tutor – if Bethany did KS3 my children would all want to work with her again now!”

“Bethany was my son’s, Year 1 primary school teacher and she started my son’s journey of loving school. She made each day interesting and informative and created a passion for learning in him that has lasted. She had a wonderful, kind and caring way about her and I will be forever grateful for the compassion she always showed him. If I am to ask him who his favourite teacher was, he will say Mrs Whybrow.”

I worked with Bethany over several years in her role as primary school teacher. Bethany is kind, patient and understanding and is passionate about making a difference. She is creative in her approach, understanding that children may learn in different ways and adapting her teaching accordingly. Bethany gives children confidence by assessing strengths and weaknesses and pinpointing any gaps in learning. In this way she is able to tailor her teaching to meet individual need.

CM – Assistant Head

Bethany taught our son in Year 5. He remembers it as being one of his best years in primary school. She pushed him on when he would have happily sat back, always expected high standards and definitely brought out the best in him.

As a classroom assistant I worked with Bethany for many years. Her lessons were carefully planned, inspiring and fun and the children make great progress under her supervision.
